How to use:
Collectors on finished dolls: Use Silicone Velvet to make baby feel like silk and protect the surface paint for longer.
To acheive velvety soft skin that is not only ultra real to touch and look at, but also helps clothes glide on and prevent friction that will damage your doll, regular use of silicone velvet will safely and purely protect you precious doll. Use on a clean dry doll with a (latex free) powder puff or small powder brush to gently work the powder into the doll's skin. Use a large powder brush to dust off any excess.
**If your doll is peeling, using any kind of powder will emphasise the peeling but will not make the peeling any worse. Consider a rematting service to fix this problem.
The powder is fully certified as safe on your own skin too, but like any powder, you should avoid inhaling due to the particle size.
Artsist: 2 ways to use
For best long lasting results: Ensure baby is clean and free of oils. Wipe down with a silicone friendly solvent (Novocs is recommended) and then apply a very thin (clear) layer of your preferred silicone paint system. Apply the powder using an atomiser spray, sifter shaker or powder brush before the silicone starts to kick (cure). See our "how to" videos for tips. After silicone has fully cured, dust of excess with a powder brush, rinse with water and check for spots where you may have not applied your clear paint - these will show up as shiny spots. Touch up any missed areas. Once complete, dust the whole baby with more powder for a fabulous feel, avoiding shiny areas such as lips and nail beds. (Users tip: Keep a little of the silicone paint mix in your palette to touch and observe to see how the curing is progressing rather than touching your artwork)

Special Care Liquid
Use Silicone Velvet Care Liquid on dummies/pacifiers and bottles to help the teat slide easily into the doll's mouth. This helps to reduce the risk of peeling and tearing of the lips caused by friction and rubbing on the lips. Care liquid is water based and developed to be 100% safe on all kinds of silicone dolls.
Unlike store bought lubricants which are designed for human skin, our care liquid does not leave a sticky residue.After prolonged use any buildup can be gently & safely removed with a cotton bud (Qtip) dipped in water.
***Be careful never to use "silicone based" lubricant or petroleum jelly on your doll - these are known to damage the silicone. Our water based product contains no silicone oil or alcohol and is safe for use on your precious baby doll.***

Healthy Glow
An advanced silicone powder to create a healthy glow appearance on collactable silicone baby dolls. Silicone and paint safe, this is the purest powder developed especially for silicone art. Used two ways, this is a wonderful new product for the most creative silicone artists. Either as a permanent matting powder or as a temporary top finish on top of your silicone velvetâ„¢ matte powder, Silicone velvet (Healthy Glow)â„¢ gives a natural healthy living skin appearance when added to cheekbones, eyelids and other highlights.
Must be used with silicone velvet matting powder

How to use:
One: As a permanent finish:
Use as a "less matte" matting powder on eyelids, noses or anywhere that you want a healthy glow (but not wet) appearance. Dust on with a brush onto a super thin layer of wet clear silicone paint. After paint is fully cured, dust off excess with a powder brush. No need to rinse. A little rub will enhance the effect.
If the finish is too wet looking - tame down with silicone velvet matte.
Two: As a semi permanent finish:
Use after your baby doll has been fully matted/cured/dusted off with Silicone Velvetâ„¢ Matte, the Silicone Health Glow powder can be used as a long lasting, but non permanent highlighter. Use a small brush and apply very very sparingly to give a glow to cheeks, eyelids using a small makeup brush or cotton swab. Rub firmly with you finger to create the glow. Only add the tiniest amount.
The powder is fully certified as safe on your own skin too, but like any powder, you should avoid inhaling due to the particle size.
Healthy glow applied to a cured baby can be removed using a cotton wool pad moistened with water or silicone safe solvent. It is not designed to be a permanent effect. If you are a doll artists, consider supplying a small container to your customers for future use.

Silicone Downy Fuzz Fibres
Use withSilicone Velvet Matting Powder for best results.
Translucent fibre strands will adhere permanently to silicone paint to create the appearance of newborn lanugo. Paint safe and non toxic. Used together with silicone velvetâ„¢ matte powder, Silicone Downy Fuzzâ„¢ fibres are a new way to create direction hair that is vey short and fine on the surface of the newborn skin, but won't rub away like other methods.
Add to brow lines, lower cheeks, and for very early babies shoulders.
